We are excited to share interviews with two extraordinary women on this International Women's Day: Dr Marie Keenan and  Ailbhe Griffith. They both advocate  for making restorative justice available and accessible for survivors of sexual harm.

The members of the recently established European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ) Research Committee (RECOM),  is mapping research gaps and needs on restorative justice and calls for your contribution.

The Criminal Justice Platform Europe (CJPE) organises its 4th International Criminal Justice Summer Course in Barcelona (7-10 July 2020). The theme chosen for this edition of the Summer Course is “Responses to sexual violence”. Registrations are now open!

On 6 November, our policy officer, Laura Hein attended the High Level Experts’ meeting: What future for victims’ right? organised by the European Commission and the Finnish Presidency. 

The EFRJ proposed a new paragraph to be included in the General Comment concerning the right of every child involved in child justice to have access to restorative justice. 

The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) organised the first Fundamental Rights Forum in Vienna on 20-23 June 2016. Our former Executive Director, Daria Nashat, attended the event on behalf of the European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ), which is part of the FRA fundamental rights platform.
